When Tim Clarke and Jasmine Badir walked into Champion Records in 2002, it didn't take long for Champion to realise they had unearthed another talent set to follow on from recent successes Faithless and Dido. 21-year-old Badir has a great penchant for writing haunting lyrics while Clarke a 26 year old multi-instrumentalist is a great musical compliment to her songwriting skills. They wrote together passionately for the next 4 years crafting songs before moving into the famous Townhouse studios and Cheeky's own studio to record the album with production help from Stonebridge & Faithless engineer Goetz.
